The Department of State strongly recommends against all travel by U.S. citizens to the State of Mississippi. This replaces previous travel warnings, to reiterate and highlight the risk of police harassment and violence, arbitrary arrest and possibly lengthy detention due to Mississippi’s inconsistent application of its criminal laws.

It's easy to imagine the cops putting up a human wall, and ordering everyone that they can attend to him after he's 'in control'. Of course trying to move into a position where you can breathe looks a lot like 'resisting', particularly when you're hogtied in a stress position.

Our local Sheriff and Police Chief used almost those exact words. "If you just do exactly what we say, you will be OK" Also "don't disrespect the police", exact words.

Well I believe that he didn't "scream" "I can't breathe" because if you can scream, you can breathe. Other than that, FTG for not doing their jobs.
