Sorry for the mean screenshot, Confessore, but in our defense, we wanted to do one. The other day, the New York Times published a piece by NYT reporter Amy Chozick, a self-reflective look at how NYT boned a goat in its obsessive coverage of the emails stolen from the Hillary Clinton campaign and the DNC by Russian hackers and laundered through Russian intelligence front WikiLeaks, none of which were particularly newsworthy (except probably for the hacking and stealing!). When we learned Hillary Clinton had a public and a private position on certain issues, it confirmed she is a common politician who, like all common politicians, sometimes publicly advocates for things she feels are realistically achievable, or that the public is ready for, while privately believing in something much bigger or radical, or that in an ideal world, the result would be a bit different.
Oh, I know. And the WEDDINGS? Barf barf. As an impoverished NY city resident the few times I read something in the NYT that made me realize there's really a whole other city that doesn't touch my reality. Even my parents who were, for a time, wealthy Manhattanites found it absurd.
I read the piece by NYT reporter Amy Chozick and yes, there was her admissions that the NYT screwed up their coverage; however, she starts the piece with some misdirection about Chelsea Clinton and her supposed reaction on election night, which Chelsea corrected her on (hint: Chelsea was home nursing her baby when she supposedly had the reaction that Chozick observed)Then there was the usual trashing of how the campaign had broken toy managers, so really it was Clinton's fault too, also.Really, I wonder if this country has enough mature voters to hold elections responsibly.
These shit heads are so frightened of living up to the silly characature of a NY Times reporter that defy their very instincts. Do you think the New Yorker gives a rats ass about what my neighbors in Alabama think about anything. That’s a NY pub that I enjoy reading. I need to escape utter stupidity not be confronted by it from people I depend on as allies. Grow up! Cause maturity is part of the problem. Not kidding. Contrarianism is a childish point of view.
If emails are important to illuminate our "understanding of Clinton, her political and financial relationships... etc.," then aren't tax returns--or the failure to release them--of at least equal importance to understanding Trump?
I've been a Mets and Jets fan since day 1 of each team (old guy). When I tell St. Peter that I was a lifelong Mets and Jets fan I am sure that not only will I get in, but I will get some major award.
That's what did it for me. I cancelled my sub after 20 years.
My folks are pretty into Sunday NYT's.Feel it's generational now.
Confessore is upset at the DNC's "disdain" for Bernie Sanders, who wasn't, you know, a Democrat. And who, you know, still isn't.
Fuck Confessore and Sanders and his bros.
You haven't atoned for throwing Christopher Steele under the bus. Yet.

Thank you.
One of many articles in reaction to the recipe:https://www.eater.com/2017/...
And the actual recipe (I think). Behold, the might green pee-ness!https://cooking.nytimes.com...

But Bernie was a white male seeking the same promotion as a woman. So you can see why they're so upset.
Did anybody else read that paragraph and suddenly flash to "If she hadn't worn such a short skirt..."
tl;dr: the grey lady decides a push-take on a cletus safari is the best coda to self-reflection.

true dat
Yes. Their avocado with peas recipe is the standard to which all other gustatory monstrosities should be compared.
Go Mets! Great start this year.
