The city shut it down- quickly, thank goodness with the Mayor saying they are not welcome in the city. I followed the comments and found them astounding. the volume of comments that are supportive of the right for white supremacists to protest. People belly ached in comments on Facebook about their white Canadian entitlement grievances, while attacking people with illogical accusations if they were perceived as liberal or females. Much of their vitriol basically said, well BLM and Palestinians are not stopped from protesting. The bullying, lack of discernment and blatant stupidity, coupled with an unwillingness to be open to understanding facts keeps them stuck, and I sense dangerous.

Following Adedini’s detainment, OU student and Ward 7 resident Joel Rayburn addressed the Norman City Council during miscellaneous comments at the Nov. 25 council meeting. Rayburn said Norman and OU have both been a “safe haven of inalienable political rights” and home to thousands of immigrants.
“As a student at OU, I’ve been lucky enough to call many of them my friends, and I will tell you that the international community at OU includes some of the kindest, most generous people I’ve ever met,” Rayburn said. “They form an irreplaceable part of our community, and that is a community that now is under threat.”
Rayburn expressed concern for professors, international students and immigrant families living in Norman. He urged the council to condemn the “illegal detainment and degradation” of immigrant community members detained by ICE, and ensure the Norman Police Department will not work with the agency.
Ward 4 Councilmember Helen Grant provided some clarity at the Nov. 25 meeting regarding NPD’s relationships with ICE after miscellaneous comments.
“We’ve had conversations in the community between NPD and immigrants about what they’re looking to enforce, and it is not immigration status,” Grant said.
At the Aug. 19 city council special session on the discussion of purchasing Flock cameras — automatic license plate reader cloud cameras – NPD Deputy Chief Ricky Jackson said that police work surrounding immigration status is outside of NPD duties.
“I understand the concern in our community about what’s going on across the nation right now, but make no doubt about it,” Jackson said. “One of our core values of the Norman Police Department is protect those that are most vulnerable in our community. When it comes to going out and seeking people in our community based on their status, whether or not they’re here documented or not, is beyond the scope of what we do.”
A spokesperson for the Norman Police Department confirm to The Transcript that the department does not have a contract with ICE, nor does it “engage in immigration enforcement activities.”
“Our focus is on upholding local and state laws to ensure the safety of everyone in our community,” the spokesperson told The Transcript. “We do not detain individuals based solely on immigration status, and any interaction with federal agencies is limited to circumstances required by law or directly related to a criminal investigation.”

Watching a movie on Netflix called "Fatman" -- it stars Mel Gibson as a grumpy, cynical Santa but I'm trying not to hold that against it. It also has Walton Goggins (The Ghoul on "Fallout") as a hitman tasked with killing him by a snotty entitled rich kid because he got a lump of coal this year. Mind you, he had had a classmate kidnapped and threatened because she beat him in the science fair and broke his four-time winner streak, so he definitely deserved it.
In the reality of the movie, not only does Santa actually exist -- and leaves presents with a plate on them reading "Made In Santa's Workshop -- North Pole" -- but he's also being subsidized by the US government in exchange for the huge economic boost Christmas brings. But ol' Santa's been handing out more and more coal lately, and since his subsidy check is based on the amount of "product" delivered, this year's check isn't enough to cover his operating expenses and so he's being forced to take a side contract with the US military. I haven't seen for what yet.

I left a pumice stone in the shower and scrubbed a little at every shower.
I use scrubbing bubbles. Just spray them on and wait.
