Hard to be bigoted against "conservative minorities" as a class because there's so damn few of them and they all have the Alan Dershowitz complex.

It’s not a liberal “myth” that she tries to hide her heritage with her name. There are plenty of adults who have a childhood nickname but they choose to go by their more formal name in their professional dealings.

Everything she does is to pander her right wing supporters. If she thought that going by “Nimrata” would help her win votes, you bet your ass she would do it in a heartbeat. But she knows it would be a detriment, so she chooses the very convenience and much less ethnic sounding “Nikki.” The same way she chooses not to hyphenate her last name and the same way she’s obliterated almost every visible reminder of her Sikh ancestry.

She’s shown beyond any doubt what she’s about concerning her heritage and a few statements here and there about how she’s so “proud” of it doesn’t undo her actions. Stop giving her credit for being a decent person, and stop shaming liberals for calling her out for exactly who she is.

“The portrait that emerged of Mr. Trump was of a mercurial commander in chief with a retinue that struggled to manage him, baffled by his flights of fancy and fearful that he would launch a war or violate the law long before his drive to overturn the 2020 election led to the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol.“

That’s a lot of words when you can just call someone an asshole.Guess that’s why I’m not a writer

I'm Puerto Rican, and the only one of my siblings that DIDN'T get a cool, ethnic name. Think Alejandro, Luisa, Marisol... and Jennifer. I've always been low key jealous. Also a main reason I'll either keep or hyphenate my last name, should I ever get married. Not wanting to lose my cultural identity by being Jennifer Smith, and whatnot.

I'm Mexican American--3 of us have Spanish names, and 3 of us have English names. Mine is Eva, which is a family name, but my Eva is like Eva Marie Saint, and my tias were Eva like Eva Longoria. My nana called me "Evita", which took on a WHOLE NEW MEANING in the 70s! Thanks Andrew Lloyd Webber :D
