I sometimes wonder how much of my turning out to be a decent human being was *actually* taking my Christian upbringing to heart in a genuine way despite the hypocrisy of most of the people around me, and how much was just things like watching Sesame Street and having a couple of great teachers.

I'm up here in the middle of Pennsylvania, ya know, the "Alabammy" or "-tucky" part. Our PBS station - (the studio is about 40 miles away at Penn State though the transmitter is right here where there's a bit more elevation) shows Sesame Street every morning.

Wow, if you thought they hated public television before! I can only imagine the Heritage Foundation is desperately scratching out a 200 page addendum to Project 2025 that details the layout and manning of dozens of internment camps for puppets.
