Ever since my daughter could ask questions, hell, even before, I made it clear to her with simple, age appropriate language and concepts that people could "like" or "marry" whoever they wanted, and that body configuration did not always correlate to gender. It wasn't a big speech, just being mindful in small moments. Tiny drops of awareness as she grew. So she just absorbed it slowly and it's no big lesson for her to learn, it's a part of her reality, like weddings and and busses and jobs and school projects and categories of fruits and vegetables. One fact amongst many.
This entitlement to other people’s kids is what convinces Disney executives that they not only can but must trans [sic] children’s psyches everywhere.
This is the nub to some extent. Right-wingers seem to feel that they are entitled to their kids, that they own their kids and can dispose them however they wish.
Counter to that is my action as a teacher, where I feel zero sense of entitlement (certainly in the sense intended in that quote) but a strong sense of responsibility to educate my students as well as I know how.
There's a thread on Twitter that's going viral now about a man approaching two men and their children and screaming at them that they are "groomers" and they "stole" the children. THIS is the fallout of the GOP/QAnon crazies infiltrating our culture with their poison. https://twitter.com/Robbiepierce/status/1514127186214621185/a>
Which party is for doing away with age of marriage for females? They think because in their "bible" Mary was a 12 year old virgin, they should be able to go out and "marry" one too.
I've been off him for a few years, mainly because the superhuman levels of smarminess and smugness (two sides of the same, etc.) Laughing at your own jokes is bad comedy form, but the snickering part is actually kinda gross.
Abso fucking-lutely they suspended him for it. But it was only temporary.
What a jerk.
Yes the. Asshole seems to be back and a take martyr.
And schools are a great place to take out their "Get off my lawn!" frustrations in an open forum with little moderation.
And it will become a TV comedy called The Stupid Years.

They also feel entitled to control women's wombs.
He's a libertarian and cranky. I'm also tired of his fat shaming and have started skipping his show.

Fancy shovel-work! (Truly.)
I dislike all the ageism he indulges in such as the Millennial hate, that's douchey behavior.
You were probably right, anyone that obsessed with it...
He's Joe Rogan with an IQ and a suit.
