Say it a little louder, please Now that Senate Republicans seem intent on writing their version of the American Health Care Act in complete secrecy, we're seeing a lot of people on Twitter and Facebook and in line at the grocery store and every possible other place you can imagine saying the Senate's closed-door effort to dismantle Obamacare and leave tens of millions of Americans with no health insurance is
Yeah, just like the perception of crooked Hillary. Despite no evidence. In fact despite numerous hostile investigations. And the problem is we are having increasing numbers of progressives hopping on the "tear down the image of the Democratic Party" bandwagon started by the GOP and popularized among the left by Russian trolls.
I went over to Mitch McConnell's page and posted it in response to every reference I saw to the Nancy P "quote." I was somewhat heartened that most of the comments over there, particularly to McConnell's post about democrats being obstructionists, were pretty anti-GOP, and most were complaining about the whole secrecy thing.
Nothing will work to neutralize the demonizers on the right. Those on the left who somehow believe that removing Pelosi as a "target" for the right would do anything to "improve" Democratic chances at breaking the iron bar of the the stupid and gullible rightwing voters are just as gullible and uninformed as those rigthwing voters.
I'm starting to hate the entire label "progressives". The way it's been used as an "exclusive" label belies the entire ideology.
I agree with you, tho' - there's always room for disagreement, but the divisions spawned by "You're not liberal enough!" could easily be a plant. The right doesn't have sole possession of gullible idiots.

Under the AHCA, a resurrected Jesus couldn't afford health care because of His Pre-Existing Condition.
See, I'm even big-minded enough not to wade into the historical Wicca debate.

Right, cause bills affecting the lives of billions sghould all be no more than 10 commandments long.
I heard it on Hannity so it must be true.
I heard it on Hannity so it mustcannot be true.
All fixed.
Republicans seem to think that the rest of us suffer from the same collective amnesia that they do.
"So, no. She wasn’t saying Democrats had no idea what was in the bill, or that it was a secret."
She was ordering us to eat our peas?
