It's because Loesch has discovered their odious opinions means social advancement means getting invited to the wedding of Stephen Miller. If they want to do better than BBQs with open-carry crows, or a back stage at a Kid rock concert, their options aren't good. The hidden hallway of social advancement Carter Graydon described, opens only conservative doors, and lead to Sebastian Gorka and Joy deVilla, and they all openly ask for money.
It reminds me of that Reddit thread: insane parents.
Abusive parents, so assured in their power and righteousness, are shocked once their children grow up and turn on them. Their old tricks don't work anymore. They swing from threats, to cajoling, and back to threats. What they don't admit to is any wrong doing on their part. This omission is glaring, because it shows they recognize their toxicity, but they still expect the old rules of appeasement still apply.
it's almost like somebody (named murdoch and zuckerberg) figured out that you can make a lot of money by pouring gasoline on the hatred that we already have for each other.
I completely agree. What do you do if it's most of your family? What do you do when your whole family are Trump Republicans other than you and your own kids? How do you deal with the disappointment of siblings that grew up with you being MAGA hat wearing white supremacist assholes? Get a new family? Or be lonely and terrified of every family obligatory family gathering? I cry everyday. It's hard not to feel defeated and alone.
They hate most to be embarrassed because those of them who are true sociopaths cannot be shamed. It requires a conscience - however shriveled - to feel shame.
To be embarrassed merely takes a sense of self importance or desire for dignity.
Yeah, Republicans love to try and convince people that they really can't be the horrible monsters that would lock children in cages and refuse justice to citizens who are black because guess what? RBG and Scalia liked to discuss opera once in awhile.
See the teeny, tiny fig leaf? That's the friendship of RBG and Scalia.
I saw a tweet the other day that pretty much sums it up. It was something like:"Can't we just agree to disagree?" Yeah, about pizza toppings or best SW movie...Not about fucking racism.
If one has to work with someone whether one likes it or not, many people prefer to stay upon good, or at least speaking, terms with that person. This is widely regarded as a prudent choice, as it can difficult to function in an atmosphere of hostility.
...however, some of us have no problem with it whatsoever... :grins evilly, takes out slingshot, aims it at Republican rear ends:
They just want to cast their votes for Dump without anybody else making them feel bad about it by reminding them about all the racism, the misogyny, the kids in cages, the people without healthcare dying and so on. Honestly, if they can get a little richer by saving a bit on taxes, why do all those "Social Justice Warriors" have to make such a fuss about that?

Damn. Time for some creatively-placed Biden/Harris signs.
I have a fist bump in my heart for you.

Democrats are evil! And commies! And worse than ISIS!But they should TOTES have republicans for friends. Wait, where are you going?
Also, I have it on very good authority that she actually thought the mother fucker was pathetic and friendless, so did the usual bleeding heart thing.
Was one of the Annes for sure

I've finally started blocking anyone who posts a pro-Trump post. It socks when it's an old friend, but I can't stand it anymore.

How about "Can't we just agree that you're an asshole"?

An openly terrible man who did some of the biggest damage to our political system.
