Everyone else doesn’t know or won’t answer questions, or aren’t around. I love her, plus her attitude and intelligence, but she is miserable and looking to quit (but wants another state job).
So I made a couple of calls and she got an interview that same day and thinks it went well and now like an idiot I might have helped my only help leave me!
I bet if she's considering it (and you hint in that delicate way you can manage) she can find a replacement who can be a help to you, should she get a better offer that you helped her to obtain
