When in doubt, trust the folks in the scrubs over the ones with badges We have several updates on the July 26 incident in which a Salt Lake City police detective manhandled and arrested a nurse for calmly explaining to him that she couldn't allow him to draw blood from an unconscious patient because of hospital rules and the patient's stupid old Constitutional rights as codified by the stupid old US Supreme Court.
Oh yeah. Chicago pays out millions, and sometimes tens of millions of dollars a year to settle civil suits against bad cops. I hope she sues the hell out of the local police, the city government, and the state police so hard that taxes go up on everybody in Utah.
I think Noah stinks. He's simply not funny. Roy Wood, Jr., and Michelle Wolf are magnitudes more funny than he is or ever will be. Why Stewart picked him, I'll never understand. But no, we can't have a woman with a late night comedy show. Or a hilarious black dude(sorry Wilmore, you weren't funny and your skits sucked). Now they've given a show to Jordan Klepper, who also isn't funny. And they cancelled @Midnight, which was mostly dick jokes and really good comedians. What about hiring Dave Chapelle? Jesus Christ, Comedy Central, get your shit together!!!
So what's even more frightening is that if she had backed down on protecting the patient, and that idiot jackboot thug cop had drawn blood, he could have compromised the patient's system. WTF USA
But every nurse I've ever known would never do that--they'd treat the asshole, because they, unlike idiots like Payne, know what their job entails and do it with professionalism.
And it's a teeny bit more specific: a white officer believes he's not getting respect from some uppity WOMAN or NI[CLANG] and it was ALWAYS going to go downhill because he's been itching to beat them up, it's why he became a police officer.
It seemed to me that he got to the stage where, if you're arguing with your kid, you say "because I'm the mom and I said so, that's why," and thought that he got to arrest her if he got frustrated enough.
