Sonia Sotomayor singlehandedly stopped Obamacare in its tracks on New Year's Eve when she granted some nuns a temporary injunction from having to comply with a part of the Affordable Care Act while their lawsuit is being appealed. Except that the only thing that's especially noteworthy about the injunction is that it was issued by a Supreme Court justice, rather than by the appeals court -- it's actually a pretty routine move, and the real surprise may be that the injunction wasn't granted by the tenth Circuit court, which Sotomayor oversees.
Well, the irony is that Thomas a Becket, their big old religious liberty hero, was the champion of the right of anyone who had ever even slightly considered being a priest, and had taken the first step towards holy orders, to be tried in a church court rather than a royal one. And the church courts would let the clergy literally get away with murder- maybe a pilgrimage would be required, whereas the royal courts of course had capital punishment. THAT was what Thomas a Becket let himself be martyred for- the right to an unfair legal advantage for clerks. I do not have a high opinion of him.
I'm as anti-Catholic as the next godless heathen sodomite, but, terrible bitter biddies who beat my parents in Catholic school for twelve years for the sole reason that they couldn't get Jesus to go down on them they are, the nuns WORK. It's the men OF COURSE who don't do squat except diddle the altar boys and work on their Latin flourishes.
So ladies who don't take the slut pills and have been given an exemption from paying for them for non-nun people are refusing the exemption because...women? I think the route one would generally go on this is to ask that BC pills be banned by the government, not this passive-aggressive shit.
Those nuns just need to get laid.

Which they couldn't possibly do anyway. Their employees need to get on a non-nun run plan.
The last pope thought that nuns were communists. Perhaps these nuns don't realize that things have changed in Rome.
Mi corazon Sonia should have complained that she didn't want to fill out the damn forms, just like the nuns.
Tube-sock Holocaust is the worstest Holocaust.
Well, duh. Contraception woulda put her outta work.

Sister Batrill needs her dramamine.
This is how my eyes apparently wanted that quote to read

[A] spokeswoman for the Bucket Fund for Religious Liberty, lead counsel for the Little Swimmers

For the $2 ones, you use the singular - "toof" not "teef."
A G string?

I know a woman who works for a Catholic hospital, she currently gets slut-pills on her insurance and the hospital doesn't seem to object.
The church in the picture looks a bit too protestant for the Little Sisters of the Poor.
The obvious answer to this is for Catholic Non-Prophets to stop hiring Protestant sluts.
