A big story in the Washington Post indicates that U.S. Army guy Bowe Bergdahl had some possibly serious mental issues that may have contributed to his walking off his base in 2009, and possibly should have kept him from even enlisting in the first place. And we are talking about serious mental issues

Just a remark on your first graf. Are there really people on the left who are "idolizing" Bergdahl? That seems to me like a right-wing strawman.

I reflexively dislike cowards and bullies who feel no shame in wrapping themselves in the flag and then using their pulpits to trash someone who put on the uniform simply because of political expediency. But any man who could spend 5 years as a POW and not come home in a flag-draped coffin (or not come home at all) deserves some compassion.

Miller is saying the President is deliberately keeping him over there so that they can&#039;t question him and prove he&#039;s a filthy traitor who should be shot at dawn. Chuck Hagel looked like he want to bust Miller&#039;s nose over that one.
(I love how that&#039;s so obviously a high crime that the Faux blowhards don&#039;t even need to discuss <i>why</i> it&#039;s a significant issue.)
