What you're saying in essence is that the right is better at governing than the left, if some portion of their movement wants something particularly badly they'll pull out all the stops and get it done, even if they're the minority. We can't do the same even when we're in the majority, the vast majority of the public of both parties want it, and we have the presidency. That's why we're about to lose abortion rights, our legislators are unwilling to go to the wall to preserve them.
You misunderstand. I think the right CANNOT GOVERN. They can win elections and stop progress, but they can't govern. Under TFG they had the House, Senate and Prez, but did not kill the ACA or Roe. All they did was ram a tax cut for the rich through and kill people with Covid.
With SCOTUS and other judges they can do more, and as long as Manchin and Sinema play their own games Dems are in a tricky space.
