Linsey Graham is gonna miss all this sexy good times of service people suffering, it's like meth to a chicken hawk . . .

Sherry's avatar

My husband asked why this was that they were so desperate. I told him that they typically do not deploy troops for that long an a ship. Food and supplies are running out. Meanwhile Kegsbreath has never seen a the duty with 12 hour days. He’s never been in combat. AND he fired all the experts who could stop this from happening. If anyone goes before The Hague it’s this guy.

I have no skark for this. Only anger. The civilians in charge had no fucking idea what they were doing when it started. The military leaders were either too chicken shit or too phoney gung ho to stand up for their service personnel and say no fucking way.

Time to start dumping jets into the sea. Again.

Has anybody checked these sailors for low-T?

Is it wrong to ask to demand more from leaders who sometimes have to send young people to die?

Apparently, not if you're a MAGAt.

I always wondered about the jackass dumbshits who talk about how they support the troops. It's so easy to talk that way if you or someone you care about isn't doing the fighting or dying for you AND if you're the type who whines about taxes as war ain't free, weapons ain't free nor is the troops healthcare when they come back sometimes broken physically or mentally because we as a society demanded/ordered them to.

Smedley Butler was right, war was a racket. One of the FDR's biggest mistakes was letting the billionaire coup go (probably because he knew most of them) and strung them up for treason after Smedley exposed the plot.

The government went easy on almost all the Confederate leaders in 1865, while they had actually gone to war against the United States. Bad precedent.

O/T -- Just saw a meme that claimed that the catering truck that surreptitiously transferred Donald Trump away from Air Force 1 in Turkey had the Secret Service code-name "Panda Express", because it served orange chicken.

Tell that to the people who died on Snake Island in Ukraine.

“Russian warship, go sit on a dick.”

They certainly didn't die for nothing. They died telling their oppressors to fuck themselves.

Oh well, he can have steak and lobster tonight.

trump has resigned himself to smokin dope and skippin rope until whatever his ultimate demise.

He'll simply ride-out the Iran fiasco claiming victory like history has never witnessed before and leave the mess behind.

He'll be long dead of burger-clog but the others need to go the fuck away for a long time.

Hope I live long enough to lite that lamp.

Pauly2coffees's avatar

I think this is the main reason he’s no longer pushing so hard to stay in office. He wants to leave this mess for somebody else to clean up.

How can you say this about our Peace President who brought great peace to Gazans as can be evidenced by the absence of protests and heckling during his speeches?

"After sunset we put our hand on our heart and just pray," Abu Ahmed Humeid says. "No one dares go outside."

That's because Israeli forces have been pushing deeper into Gaza in recent months. At the start of the ceasefire in October, the military controlled around half of the territory, along what is called the "yellow line."

Israel's military now controls nearly 70% of Gaza, including the area of al-Shujaiya.

The abused really have become the abusers. And it’s not antisemitic to say so because there are plenty of Jewish people saying just that. I think Anne Frank herself would be in tears seeing what Bibi and his goons have done and are continuing to do with backing from the U$A.

"The UN’s human rights office said last month that settler violence in the West Bank is at an “all-time high,” highlighting the deadly combination of Israeli forces and settlers often acting together to attack and demolish Palestinian communities, while Palestinians themselves face movement restrictions that prevent access to some essential services. Al Jazeera reported Israeli forces arrested at least 23 Palestinians – including children, according to Wafa News – and demolished several homes across the West Bank. “Settler violence has reached unprecedented levels,” Ramiz Alakbarov, UN Deputy Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process, told the Security Council on Tuesday. “The situation in the West Bank must be treated as an emergency requiring urgent action.” [HuffPost Updates, today]

Bibi said it’s just a few street kids doing some criminal mischief.

We need to cut off all aid to Israel and announce that Bibi has 60 days to remove every settler from Gaza.

You know, when people were saying "lets establish a nation by force of arms" back even before WW2, people really should have believed they were serious.

Bibi isn't going to stop because his supporters genuinely think they have a moral right to take whenever land they want and kill anyone who tries to stop them.

He has promised to derail what used to be announced U.S. foreign policy by never agreeing to a Palestinian state. If he were a leftist in Latin America, Donnie would already have CIA agents in the country.

"Notably, just about every Navy family member who talked to MS NOW for that report said they had voted for Trump." I don't know why this gives me schadenfreude, but it does. Bigly. I feel sorry for the sailors and as a veteran I know what a never ending deployment feels like (like you'd like to use a safe word to make it stop), but your families....
