"Regulated" appears nowhere else in the Constitution ... so obviously it ended up in the Second Amendment by mistake.

Guns don't get stolen. People steal guns!

You can have my gun when you pry it from my cold dead hands. Or if you manage to steal it. Either way, I won't tell anyone.

Guns bring so much freedom, that even owning one is literally impossible. This is perfectly fine, because if the gun had actually wanted to stay with you, it would have helped you shoot the new owner.

We'll just say guns simply "left on Freedom Vacations with other owners."

The NRA will not be happy until every man, woman and child is required to buy at least one new gun every year and fire that gun at least once a week. Gotta keep the gun and ammo manufacturers going. That is after all who the NRA work for.

Because police as a matter of principle, disapprove of murdering vigilantes? Not always in fact, at least not when one of those Urban Thugs gets shot, but in principle.

NRA "Logic": Well, if someone steals your gun it's your own fault for not having it on your hip/slung over your shoulder 24/7.
