I guess being a Texan I don't understand. I don't even think Abbott would be all, "sure, Houston PD, go ahead and nab girls off the street and throw them in unmarked cans." It makes no goddamn sense.
Snatching a trans woman out of a protest and into an unmarked vehicle is intended to terrorize her and intimidate protesters. Period.
Also, remember that the whole point of bicycle cops was originally to get cops out of their cars and into the community to improve relationships. But because the police will use anything and everything as a blunt force tool, in the end, all it did was give them mobile barricades and allow them to get places faster than they could run.
Yeah my friend in the mortgage industry told me that it wasn't worth buying a new build under $300K because they were all using cheap materials and were going up in like 3 months, which says a lot about the build quality. (In my area, anyway.)
Uh yeah, I sure as hell would struggle if some random dude tried to force me into an unmarked van. It was drilled into my head that that is something you DO NOT WANT.
GIMP works well as a PhotoShop replacement (although there are things I am used to in ps that I haven't been able to replicate in GIMP), but I mainly used Lightroom, Snapheal, Luminar and Aurora HDR. I am playing around with Darktable, RawTherapee, Luminance HDR, Shotwell, and Krita to replace the apps I am used to, just haven't figured out my workflow yet, and do not like the way Shotwell crashes constantly. I only have a few hundred thousand photos, so I would hope that it is not a memory issue.
I was watching film of a 1st amendment auditor last night and he was wondering why black cops were aiding in the suppressing of civil rights. It's a good point.
^THAT. LOUDER FOR THE PPL IN THE BACK.
additional non-commentarial upfist for succinct accuracy.
Nobody want to take responsibility because the best practices are completely contradictory to their own political messaging ..
Which tie actualizes fidelity?
