haha - of course you know I wasn't casting aspersions nor shoveling dark glances your way, but just doing what any honest, experienced, incorruptible copper would do in getting to the essence of an event. Being defensive, arguing, etc etc is for rookies and as last-ditch accusations by the, shall we say, clueless ...

Donald believes the 2012 convention was boring and plans to correct that with the most entertaining, over-the-top convention anyone could ever imagine. They should put a go-pro on Mitch McConnell and stream it on the internet 24/7 just t watch his facial expressions as that thing unfolds.

Many a "revolutionary mind" throughout history has not seen the truth at all, or has twisted it to suit its revolutionary ends. The ends justify the means is very often the one truth that can be taken away from successful revolutions.Stalin was a revolutionary. So were Mao, Hitler, Pol Pot and Lenin. The notion that the "revolutionary mind" is somehow immune from appeals to base fears and prejudices is to say the least, risible. Truth, in a political context, is far from immutable, nor is it the exclusive preserve of any particular mindset or point of view. History is rife with examples of political figures who were hidebound ideologues and yet did great things in spite of it, while many revolutionaries have been anarchic nihilists who contributed little or nothing of real worth to their societies.
