Wow, it's amazing how many Delaware farmers fall under the 'death tax', with estates of over one million (after deductions and such).

That would be awesome. That even fits somewhat with the Jehovah's witless POV...except they'd be on Earth tending the box-hedges while all of the cool folks are kicking it in heaven. Hell, I'd even be conciliatory to he asshole left-behinds. We'd simulcast the Jimi Hendrix concert to their workstations.

You mean its not a diagram of a hydrogen atom?

All fundies...yeah, that would be cool. We'd need a pretty big space, something the size of Australia maybe. But not Australia because Australia seems pretty cool. We could call it Fundy Island.

I am very touched, really I am, by your clearly heart-felt apology. Rest assured that in a world where Sarah Palin uses her kid with Down syndrome (and Rahmbo's use of the "r word") to advance an attack on health care by invoking "death panels", the occasional use of the word "retard" pretty much bounces off me. It's probably something that the culture as a whole should be wrapping up, but I know it's just a word people use and it's not meant personally at all. On the other hand, on sites like Salon, it has been made clear that a handful of people are pissed that people (like Sarah Palin and myself) who know via amnio that their baby has Down syndrome go ahead and have the baby anyway. How dare we burden them with our children who will probably never live independently but will also never be drug dealers, gang members or Republicans? THAT'S where I take offense. I appreciate the recall of a re-considered term that might be offensive, but if it's just a word, that seems fairly innocuous.

I suspect the type of personality that tries to shoe-horn current events and right-wing paranoia into rambling Biblical symbolic text either has its roots in either a lack of critical thinking skills coupled with an upbringing of parental psychological bullying, or they think they can make a buck at it by selling books/videos/lectures to groups of people with a lack of critical thinking skills coupled with an upbringing of parental psychological bullying for money.

Just a theory, though.

Obama and Biden must've been really tight on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee together, because Barry voluntarily wanting to spend 4-8 years with this guy is otherwise pretty inexplicable.

On May 21, 2011, the rapture shall begin and all of those zipper heads will be whisked somewhere else.

And the rest of us will breathe a sigh of relief.

So is the strategy here to cost Coons the race by raising O'Donnell's profile so she'd be awashed in out-of-state campaign cash, or do they just want to create a sympathy vote for her by making her look like a victim of the establishment political machine?

I knew something was wrong with me when my old fundamentalist preacher would describe the reign of the Anti-Christ during the Tribulation and I'd think "Hey, some of those are some pretty good ideas."

Doesn't Barbara Boxer count?

Biden really wants to be that guy that everyone wants to have a beer with. It might help if he was buying.

That's a Saturday, folks, if you want to get the breakfast slam at Denny's on your way to the rapture.
