[contextly_sidebar id="SwCAIAuXo8MT3IrUftaXFM8MoSlquhmq"]Ted Cruz woke up to the news that there had been a bombing that killed so many white people. "YES!" said Ted Cruz, pumping his fist like he saw people do in movies and because he's a dork. "THIS IS MY LUCKY DAY!" Now people would finally understand that there was only one Republican hard-assed enough to take on the terrorists. (That Republican was Hillary Clinton.) But a funny thing happened on the way to all the Republicans saying "oh our bad, we realized Donald Trump is a big dummy who can't foreign policy good and now we will all flock to you, Ted Cruz, the one true light of American conservatism and hard-assery," and that funny thing was that Ted Cruz opened his mouth, and horrible things fell out if it, and we are not talking about
Well, during the Cold War Republicans liked to draw a "distinction" between "dictatorship", meaning the Soviet Union, and "authoritarian", meaning Saudi Arabia/South Africa/et. al. Though I'd agree that terminology to distinguish Kim Jong Il from your "authoritarian asshole" category would be useful.
I seriously don't get the 12 step hate. If it doesn't work for you- don't use it. If you have some sort of philosophical problem with it- find a different recovery program-check yourself into Betty Ford, whatever. Yet there is an entire group out there that goes out of their way to bash the program and tell horribly ugly lies and distortions about what it is and what it does. The only thing I can figure is that it must be people who tried the program and failed and would rather smear the program than deal with their own responsibility in getting sober or maybe people who work for for-profit recovery agencies who see the 12 step programs as competition and a threat. If you have a problem with the whole 'higher power' thing (though it is so loosely defined that it can be almost anything- it isn't Jebus thing by any means), then try Rational Recovery, a completely different program. But I've seen too many of my friends and family have their lives literally saved by the 12 step programs to stand idly by and let some jackass with an agenda smear them and the very thing that rescued them.

I must admit I am not as rational as I think I I never knew there were Muslim neighborhoods. I always thought that Muslims are well integrated in our society and holding real jobs , raising normal families and, generally, very productive citizens. Thank god for Ted Crud (that is not a typo) for educating me. As a reward for his insight I suggest he go directly to hell...immediately.
As POTUS he is not charged with "pushing for political change in...blah blah ." His responsibility is to execute the provisions of the U.S. Constitution, e.g. nominate Supreme Court justices.

Ooh. That's a good one. I was safely ensconced in Bestawan so I didn't see it.
I've never eaten there. But I've seen it (on the way to VG's for my donut fix, or Pipes for a breakfast burrito...)

Yeah, this is just plain derailing the thread. Comment deleted; please take this argument elsewhere.

Way to go, Chili Dog! In fact why don't you just go away? Far away.
Good choices. Both don't miss choice for sure. Bestawan is for pizza and beer on the patio.

And the cups are so small.
What if you're a white muslim in a "stand your ground" state?
