They'll find that the US fucked up - we already know that. I doubt they'd find out who, exactly, fucked up, because the military won't give them that information.Would not be the first time a Taliban "informer" passed bad intel into the US chain of command.
As former military, it's really hard to read articles like this (and the comments included). The first thing I want to do is jump in, defend the military, and try to excuse what happened.
Well, I'm not going to do that. Someone fucked up here, and that amazing fuckup resulted in MSF being hit. That's pretty much the very top of the "things you never want to happen" pile right there.
The only correct way to go forward from this is a transparent investigation, done by an impartial third party. After the results of that get put out, heads need to roll, from the person who submitted whatever information was used to determine MSF a valid target, right on up the chain.
It's depressing as hell knowing that won't happen.
The fog of war is real. I'm as liberal as they come, you can check my comment history, but anyone who buys into the "our airstrikes are accurate!" bullshit is being naive in the extreme.
I'd like to think he does, but having all those stars on your shoulder means you have to be political and take political considerations into account when you speak.
Agreed. It's building. 1st, Mittens lost big. Then, the RWNJs shutdown the gov't. Now, Boner can't find a replacement. It's a trifeca!
Because, Meth.

Wow. Deep.
Nope, you get paper cuts and chafing from Mapquest.

Big, expensive, sophisticated war crimes!
It was a very accurate strike.
The morons who targeted the building, not so much.
Deliberately and accurately and mistakenly. They need to find the dumbfuck who thought it was a legit target.

Am I late to this party? Press Secretary Josh Earnest? Really? Good old Earnest Josh. I am so fucking pissed at Obama.
Bingo.

Is that the daughter he wants to bone's name or one of the wives'?
