The United States has seen "a net loss of people with health insurance" because of Obamacare. β€” John Boehner on Thursday, March 13th, 2014 in a press conference

False then and false now.

Good news for the real world. Meanwhile, the charlatans in the GOP clown car will continue to talk about the "failed" health care act, and the nitwits who listen to them (even those who now have insurance) will continue to believe it.

Yeah try and confuse the issue with your 'numbers' and 'studies' libtards but we both know the website didn't work so no one signed up, everyone lost their insurance because of regahlations and Obama just gave poor people health insurance so when I go to the ER for accidentally swallowin' a whole pouch of dip, no Messicans or Blahs will be there for me to make racist cracks about to ma wife. Thanks Obama!

[no snark]

A friend recently went to the emergency room with heart attack symptoms. It cost him over $4,000 for them to tell him that no, he had the flu. (He has to pay it because of his deductible is $6K.)

How do we fix this problem? Single-payer won't help. I'm sure as hell going to think twice about going to the emergency room for what might turn out to be a $4K case of indigestion.

Just curious, why do you think that single payer, aka Medicare for all, won't work? It's what I'm prepared to poke someone in the eyeball (with a vote) for, and am hoping will eventually come out of Obamacare.
