Tdap hurts like a MoFo. Keep your arm moving as much as possible or you won't be able to lift it the next day. I had a far worse reaction to that than to the Moderna shots. YMMV I'm still getting another one in 10 years because I'm not a fucking baby

These parents claim they "have a hard time finding reliable information to make an informed decision,"

They aren't having a hard time finding reliable information to make an informed decision. They're having a hard time finding a credible source that will tell them exactly what they want to hear.

Worse than this summer. That's my prediction, it should be a lot better but it won't be.

So, anti-vaxx it is. Doesn't being politically incorrect just give you tingles in the bathing suit area?

When I got my booster, the pharmacist said they were working on a combo flu/COVID shot for the next flu season.

Of course, they'll still have the "pure" flu shot for those nimrods, but, of course, once again, word will be spread that all flu shots now have the vaccine in them, and we'll sit through the inevitable wave of flu deaths among the Base, hastened along by their ever-present comorbidities.

more than 1 in 4 U.S. residents have likely battled the coronavirus and gained some immunity as a result.

Leaving about 75% of US residents vulnerable is not a win, moron.

fortunately there was quite a lot of pushback to that stupid latimes article (i'm an online subscriber) including an article today pointing out that kids are now pretty much the primary vector in CA

If I remember correctly, the previous guy in the White House was going after marijuana growers and dispensaries operating in states where at least medical was legal.

Benito Mussolini did not refer to Italy as a corporate state frivolously. That is exactly what fascism is, and his little acolyte with the toothbrush mustache in Bavaria caught that ball and ran with it.

Yeah, it’s the guidance stuff. If places are primarily concerned with the time since vaccination, though, then I guess I could ask around.

It can’t hurt. Like I said, I was there for the flu shot anyway (walked in without an appointment). Pharmacist initially said they didn’t usually do the boosters without an appointment, but they apparently had enough shots available, and the only concern was that it had been over 6 months since 2nd shot.

It’s worth a shot.

The problem with the media here is simple. A lot of ninnies go into journalism, so naturally they seek out others of their tribe to validate it, not that they are hard to find. By my estimate, at least 25% of US Americans are ninnies; and the other demographic the media over represents, the bullies, are at least 12.5%. The bullies are who we have to thank for the ninnies being nervous about vaccinations, a thing that never used to be a big problem except on the fringes of society.

Napoleon knew it, and so did U.S. Grant- when the enemy is wavering or breaking, THAT is the time to press HARDER, to go in for the kill, don't let'em have time to recover.
