Oh, Hillary. Why'd you have to go and say that you and Bill were "dead broke" when you left the White House in 2001? In an interview Monday with Diane Sawyer, Hillz said, "We came out of the White House not only dead broke, but in debt. We had no money when we got there, and we struggled to, you know, piece together the resources for mortgages, for houses, for Chelsea's education. You know, it was not easy."
1. As you may be aware, there is a certain division among Wonkers regarding opinions about the Clintons. The various reactions as to what constitutes "real" "debt" show that your comment has helped to delineate that division.
2. I am moderately pro-Hillz, but I think she made a mistake in that interview. "Dead broke" carries a pretty clear connotation, which does not represent the Clintons' situation in 2001.
And what couple could possibly survive on those measley US Presidential and Senator's pensions, free health care, free private security, book royalties, etc.
"Dead broke" - as in "can't afford the filet mignon" or "can't afford hamburger to go with the Hamburger Helper" dead broke?
Chelsea Clinton Graduates! Chelsea Clinton Graduates!
Hillary's populist cred has been shot since she served on Walmart's board.
thx Zoom for reading those Bill O&#039;Reilly articles and passing on his wisdom so we don&#039;t have to. <a href="http://www.foxnews.com/on-a..." target="_blank">" rel="nofollow noopener" title="http://www.foxnews.com/on-air/oreilly/2014/06/11/...">http://www.foxnews.com/on-a...

Mrs. Clinton needs to be more Golda Meir, less Selina Meyer.

This is what Obamacare hath wrought: Editrix reading old magazines.

How <i>do</i> they manage?
Way to set the bar high.
