The slaughter continues . . . Where are the riots? What about strikes and work slowdowns? Houston is a city of many immigrants—are there Significant numbers out on the street to protest this killing? Sporadic protests are not enough— It needs to be constant and continual. I think The US needs to do more of what people do in Mexico. Not only do they bombard the press, politicians And social media with their messages and signs, But they get out and block major highways! Public complaints escalate, and THAT gets the attention of the Politicians and bureaucrats and sometimes international press. Then They usually have a Series of meetings With the opposition and compromises are hashed out. I believe sometimes there is success and sometimes not, but things are moving in a better direction in Mexico.
However, I am just an old gringa Living in Mexico and making observations from the perspective of having been a long time activist And resister to corporate and government actions in the US. The pressure for change, and the resistance, has to continue. Minnesota Has set some examples of actions, but ICE/BP are still in the state.
The US protesters rely on the the legal system and often lose, plus it is corrupt and takes too much time to resolve anything. Another tactic in both countries is to occupy the site of the planned projects or executed atrocity, and the local police come and Arrest a few protesters. But more people come back and KEEP coming back in larger numbers, closing streets, etc. but keeping it peaceful. (They also provide help to the families of those arrested, too.) Then the government and/or developers are forced to stop work, release protestors, strike a compromise, etc. Sometimes they go away or change their practises at least for a while.
The newish Morena Party is supposed to be for the people, and it carried most of the states of Mexico in the last election, So it is sensitive about these Controversies. Some people even protest against the cartels and local gangs Knowing how dangerous that could be. In the US, there needs to be a new third-party, NOT Something built from the Democratic Party, to turn things around through long lasting mass protests and general strikes. Amen.
Lorenzo Araujo... he looked like a dude that would totally buy a pizza and ask me and my kids to come over and watch Despicable ME 2 with him and his kids. And hand me a ice cold beer when I walked in the door.
I did it with Troy. "Oh yeah its girl's night out for you so us dads had to baby sit the kids. It sucked" (that is a lie). Daddys are the best babysitters. Ice cream? Sure. Caffeine soda? Why not. Jumping on the couch? I can jump higher. Wanna learn how to play poker?
The rule was ALWAYS "Don't tell your mother" we didnt put them asleep. We wore them out.
Another case of a coward with no marketable skills being given a gun and told to "get the foreigners," pissing himself when his orders weren't followed, and then murdering a guy because "he was afraid for his life."
Video starting to come out. Looks like the ICE agent ran the van off the road and spun it around then the van drove about 70 feet and pulled over. Then the ICE vehicle pursued. That’s the end of the video but already clearly shows they lied.
AND TODAY, the headline in this AM's newspaper here in Mexico City was about the lies told by the US about kidnapping a Mexican citizen, flying him into the US, so he could be charged without going thru the niceties of extradition. That a prominent Mexican citizen got killed in the process (by US agents?) and the US ambassador at the time -- Biden admin's Ken Salazar -- lied thru his teeth, while the US continues to claim the Mexican administration is in cahoots with criminals.
Oh, and another article (part of an on-going investigation) of US companies involved in robbing Mexican oil.
Ta, Dok. I'm curious. Has any one of these miscreants ever told the truth about one of these encounters where vehicles are "weaponized" against them? I seriously doubt it.
Just seems like there’s something missing from the ICE story. So they surrounded the van with vehicles but then he supposedly rammed the vehicle but then at the same time one of the ICE guys got out while this was happening and got in front of the vehicle and had to shoot. Then the victim apparently crawled out of the van into the street and bled out.
That series of events just doesn’t seem right to me.

This was a 21st century LYNCHING.

Fuckin' ICE denied some kids so much fun.
The racism fueled by this heinous administration is pushing America back into the dark ages. Fuck ICE.

I can't imagine how these losers go shopping.
Heavily armed, always. Or their tradwives do it.
I hope all of these murderers get what is coming to them. It should be our first action upon regaining power.

I am ashamed that this is allowed to continue to happen in our country.
I know. I hate this.

Where do you think ICE learned how to justify every killing?

DUST OFF THAT 'MISSION ACCOMPLISHED' BANNER
Since "Great Again" was never clearly defined by Don-Don we conclude it means little more than "random State-sponsored arrests and killings".

They can't and don't ever tell the truth, which is why they were hired

OT 10 minutes until the end of the work day.
OT, it's my day off, but I just agreed to work tonight because another nurse called out, and frankly, we need the money.
So, I found a copy of 𝘚𝘶𝘣𝘫𝘶𝘨𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘈 𝘗𝘰𝘱𝘶𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯, 𝘍𝘰𝘳 𝘐𝘥𝘪𝘰𝘵𝘴 and it looks like I'm not the only one...
*Using military force, mass surveillance, and harsh policing to suppress dissent.
*Legal Disenfranchisement: Implementing discriminatory law systems to strip targeted groups of political rights.
*Cultural Eradication: Forbidding native languages, spiritual practices, and traditions to break communal identity
Hmmmm how long before they try out the this one?
*Resource Monopolization: Controlling vital food, water, land, and economic infrastructure to create forced dependency
For the record, I didn't actually want to subjugate a population, I was just subjugation-curious. Unlike these fuckers.

"I am making out the report now. We haven't quite decided yet whether he committed suicide or died trying to escape."
ICE murder mad libs police report.
Good analogy. Like the words are all there but they don’t really make any sense
