There are some people who just cannot burn in Hell long enough....

Poor Wayne is in declining health. Lucky for him, it's not lead poisoning, a disease he's been so enthusiastically, and very efficiently, help spread. Although that could be considered a bit ironic, if not Karmic.

It probably helped avoid the ol' lead poisoning by working in a gun-free building.

Wonder if it’s related to the mental health issues he (allegedly) used to avoid getting sent to Vietnam.

He woulda said "bone spurs" but that excuse has already been taken.

You’re nice to offer Wayne your thoughts and payers. I wouldn’t pee on him if he was on fire.

Expand full comment

What if you peed gasoline?

Expand full comment

That would undoubtedly change the scenario.

Expand full comment

I might pee on him if he wasn't on fire, safety first, but I'd want assurance that he isn't into that first...unlike a friend of his.

Ah, reminds me of when the Bay Area guy for United Way had them pay for a face lift.

Expand full comment

I'm sure his defense was that he was 'the face of United Way' and just wanted to put a different face forward. Like Santos, or was it Katara, that got botox on campaign funds?

Yeah, the guy was ahead of his time.

He can start a new career as a Squeegee Man in New York City.

Or, more likely, given his public stands, he can take over one of the many MAGAt or Trumpetoon militias out beyond the manure store in Dogpatch, West Carolina, training them in how to avoid blowing off their hands when cleaning their pistols while they're drunk.

“It’s nice of Reuters to explain the reference like that for readers. Nice isn’t even the word — it’s party time, it’s excellent. The NRA’s defense are expected to argue NO WAY, and then James’s prosecutors will go WAY, and the NRA lawyers will argue that the prosecution is entirely political, and that the group has instituted reforms, so everything’s fine now, and then monkeys will fly outta LaPierre’s butt.”

Aww, I’m disappointed you couldn’t work “Schwing!” somewhere in there.

Insomnia read. That whole bit made me lol or as the kids say, until just now, ijbol

Why is Wayne LaPierre being persecuted so? He was merely the Food and Beverage Director.

In hell, he will work in an ER where the only patients are GSW

"don’t you turn up your nose like that, it’s still perfectly edible! " In my experience, men and dogs are much more willing to play "is it food?" than women and cats.

"Huh. I can't quite tell what it is (was) and it's been on the counter a bit. Is it food? No obvious growths. Doesn't stink. I'll give it a wee taste" is a string of words that you would absolutely NEVER NEVER EVER hear out of my sweetie's mouth, but you might hear from me.

Is there yet new nomenclature in the DSM for people who idolize the very folk who rob them blind? It’s obviously a ‘type’. While a multi-limbless vet sits in prison for ripping them off to not ‘We Build the Wall’, this type is tuned in to fellow fraudster Steve Bannon’s podcast. While they moan about Joe’s (burgeoning) economy, they’ll donate their last dime to pay for Cheeto’s feckless defense team. No doubt these perpetual whiners are being victimized, yet they don’t seem to recognize by whom.

How about ‘witless masochists’?

meh

nothing will happen to him

sigh..

It seems that white collar crimes aren't really crimes...just the cost of doing business. Without ACTUAL and VERY REAL TANGIBLE punishments, 'guilty' verdicts are WORTHLESS

Hey P. Kent Correll, what kind of misconceptions might people have about good ole Wayne? Could you give some examples?

It’s also good to note that they were taken down by victims of gun violence and also that the donations to the NRA have dropped off significantly in the past few years.

This organization was founded on GUN SAFETY. Somewhere along the way they changed what this organization did from safety to murder.

They need their non-profit status revoked.

I've always thought the Clinton assault rifle ban is what freaked them, or more accurately, the gun manufacturers who bankrolled them, the f*** out...

They also blocked the technology that can have a gun only unlocked much like your phone and also he then with RFID tracking. So many violent situations have stolen guns. Also child suicides. But who cares about kids at the NRA? No one.

They need more than that but I will get ban hammered if I elaborate
