What's SO disheartening is that someone on Kasich's side will get almost 50% of Americans' votes. In part, that's because so many of my fellow citizens ignore their civic duty and do not vote. In part, it's because the R's best friend, Gerry Mandering, and his sidekick, VoteR I D Laws, have made it so difficult in so many places.

Help your friends, colleagues, family members, neighbors, and acquaintances register and vote. Maybe they need internet access, which you can provide when you aren't at Wonkette. Maybe they need rides, e.g. to the DMV. Maybe a small gift (even if you call it a loan so as not to hurt feelings) of money is what it takes. Do what it takes. Register and VOTE.
