We've been through this so many times - if the "bad guy" is running away from you, it is not self-defense to then shoot them.

But I'm sure Wayne LaPierre and his merry band of lunatics is printing up her NRA Lifetime Membership card right now.

Or "shoot first, shoot later, shoot some more and then when everybody's dead try to ask a question or two."

Dogs, most likely. I've used one for years and yes, they hurt like hell. True story- about 20 years ago some kid fleeing the cops went over y electric fence, shocking his privates on the way. He then found himself face to face with 3 extremely large wolf hybrids who were none too happy to see him. His choices at that point were to go back over the fence and be shocked and arrested by the pursuing police or hope he could get across my yard before the dogs went to town on him, knowing there would be another electric fence on the other side. He chose to keep going. The cops and I had quite a laugh at his predicament.

I've raised them for over 25 years. Those dogs passed away from old age years ago, but I do have one male now. It's like other "problem" breeds, the problem is usually stupid owners. I tell anyone who asks that they shouldn't get one because 95 out of 100 people who think they want one have no business getting one.

As you should be, as am I. Because it is goddamn ridiculous.

Wait, wait, wait. So I can get a wolf dog, and a gun? If I have both, I think my house should be declared a national monument, for patriotism. But seriously, wolf hybrids sound great, but probably not a good idea for almost everybody. I am still waiting for somebody to breed my dream dog, Miniature Rottweilers. You heard it here first.

Wolf dogs take a lot of work and knowledge, plus they don't make particularly good watchdogs compared to a German Shepherd or Rott or whatnot. Not sure about a miniature Rottweiler, but I have seen miniature Pinschers and Huskies and they're cute as can be...
