I have a cape that I bought in a weak moment at the Cracker Barrel, because I was cold. It has a hood. Is that not street legal in OK now? I don't really look like a thug...more like a demented Christmas caroler.
I would say the issue is criminalizing it, or even legislating it at all, which is so hypocritical given the standard Republican railing against the "nanny state".
If shops want to have that rule (on penalty of removal from the premises), as long as it is equally applied to everyone I got no quarrel with it.
And the crime they committed while hooded was getting there "sooner", i.e. starting before the legal starting point for homesteading the former Indian Territory. I rest my case.

So how would a cop on the street determine whether a hoodie wearer had ill intentions?
OMG!! Does this mean there really are Fashion Police?
I remember learning in sex ed that the clitoris has a hood. What if her intentions are ill?
I'm sick of Wonkette capitulating to right-wing memes. Why won't you sell Wonk-hoodies?
