Kiww da buu-uuzz, kiww da buu-uuzz... The Trump administration is preparing to move forward on yet another front in its War On Reality-Based Policy. Next week, Trump's "Task Force on Crime Reduction and Public Safety," headed up by Attorney General For Now Jeff Sessions,
Going after folks just trying to get their mellow on. Sounds about right for the right wing christian crowd. Terrified someone somewhere is having a good time.
Please don't drive stoned, for exactly the same reason you shouldn't be swinging sledgehammers around while stoned. Cars can be quite dangerous, especially in combination with reduced mental acuity.
I'm more interested in delivery and content of the joke than some mystical originality score.
If I laughed, it was a good joke.I cannot accept that a joke I laughed at retroactively becomes less funny just because someone else also made it earlier when I wasn't there to enjoy it. I don't have enough laughter in my life to be constantly second guessing it when it does happen. That would be no way to live.
Too many tinpot dictators to be called libertarian. Just because there is no government does not mean there are no authorities. They are just much smaller scale, overlapping, and generally bad people.
Speaking of Somalia, I'm curious about the corporate presence there.I see two ways a situation without govt can go:
1. corporations take over;
2.corporations can't exist (because they need a minimum level of infrastructure, etc.).
My assumption is that government's primary functions are to keep capitalism in check, but looking into Somalia some more could give me more insight.
Crime is associated with illegal substances because they're illegal. That means people predisposed to break the law, aka "criminals," gravitate toward selling them. It also means these criminals can and will use violence against each other to gain control of the market, because the losers can't go to the police.
When such substances are made legal, criminals no longer have an advantage in selling them. You may notice that people haven't bought alcohol from gangsters in about 80 years for this reason.
Greetings, T.L. Muscle. I suppose I should feel honored for getting a custom-designed insult from you instead of the usual copypasted arglebargle.
Would you be so kind as to email me (address is under the "contact" link at top of page)? I wonder if you'd be willing to answer a few questions about your copypaste mission across multiple Disqus platforms.
