You are thinking you're making a great point - however, you aren't actually are not - because being a man is not a substitute for actual study of law and history

The high point of government control over reproduction was Buck v. Bell - A case that has never been formally overruled - Roe v. Wade is the opposite. In overruling Roe v. Wade, the Supreme Court is returning to Buck v. Bell. And Skinner, like every other substantive due process case is absolutely at risk - as is any federal law that limits states, and the administrative state

And if you did some more research you'd know that forced sterilization has already been used as effective punishment - they just make it "voluntary" such as a condition of release from treatment (see, Kansas v. Hedrick)

You're incredibly naive to think that being male will save you

Back in 2018 Paxton's Democratic opponent spoke at a meeting I was attending. The fellow had the BEST line (keep in mind Paxton is one of those lawyers who's never tried a case himself): "The only two words Ken Paxton has ever spoken in a court room are 'Not guilty'".

That would be a white, "Christian" penis.

Yeah, they're all so brave until their enemies start shooting back. Fuck around and find out.

Yes? It seems many Republicans want to kill all Democrats because of whatever pathology makes them enjoy causing pain. Many Democrats might want to kill Republicans just to get some peace and quiet.

Right, like that. There was another one recently in South Carolina.

Why be so combative and insulting?

The forget that many libertarians are both pro-abortion, and armed to the teeth.

But even more relevant that left leaning folk especially in rural areas, also have guns, we just don't feel the need to show them off all the time or talk about them all the damn time.

'See God's greatness'

On the floor of the execution chamber. Yep.

When you get political enough to demand killings as you see fit, you stop being a religion and getting those tax-breaks and free parking.

It's serious as a heart attack. If you really think there's only "one" murderous Republican out there, you probably thought Donald Trump would never get more than 1% of the vote.

"I can't see anything in there similar to the Roe legal reasoning" It refers to the right to procreate as a "fundamental right" even though there is no clause in the Constitution talking about procreation, and I am sure Alito can find medieval lawyers talking about the propriety of castrating certain offenders.

It is only false if five Justices agree that it is false.

Are you seriously unaware of the millions (=>1) of conservative fundies who -whether they truly identify as Republicans or are just fellow travelers - are absolutely frothy at the idea of being able to murder women for everything from taking birth control to miscarrying to abortion? And the millions more who may not admit to it out loud but will have zero problems turning a blind eye to states passing laws supporting that very outcome? Did you not listen to the video? This "reasoning" isn't unique to those two chuckleyfucks; that abortion = homicide and should therefore be punished with execution, not just a forced vakay at the local forced birth reeducation camp. You either have some serious privilege going on or are willfully, woefully, wowserly naive. And that makes you dangerous, more dangerous in some ways, than the Frothy Forced-Birther Hordes.

For the third time, they would never *say* that the 8th Amendment doesn't apply to women, they would simply go ahead and permit cruel and unusual punishments that specifically apply to women if, say, they miscarry and are suspected of doing something intentional or unintentional that contributed to the miscarriage. If you read Wonkette you should remember these cases which were covered here recently https://www.wonkette.com/br... and https://www.wonkette.com/wo...If you pay any attention to legal developments you ought to know that these cases are far from unique.

And if you want barefaced advocation of violence, just glance at the responses to almost any column on Gateway Pundit. They declare anything they don't agree with to be "treason", especially stealing the 2020 election from Trump, which they are convinced happened. The penalties they favour include, a favourite one, running through a woodchipper alive, though some are gentle enough to urge mere hanging or firing squads. One charmer was all for the Death of a Thousand Cuts.Of course they are having fantasies and would never do things like this themselves, in person.Never.Unless they found themselves in a thousand-strong mob storming some governor's mansion or Planned Parenthood outpost, and were suddenly able to bury their misgivings (and their cowardice) in numbers. What they'd do then doesn't bear thinking about. They'd have lynched Mike Pence and torn Speaker Pelosi to pieces on January 6th, if they'd got their misshapen paws on them.
