David Perdue would really like to be Georgia's next U.S. Senator, but it seems he has a few problems with the ladies, as in he is polling really badly with them, compared to opponent Michelle Nunn. For a state with no Democrats in statewide offices, Georgia is very, very close to sending Nunn to the Senate, and Perdue didn't exactly close the gender gap with his performance in Sunday's debate with Nunn. You see, while Perdue was CEO of discount chain store Dollar General, the company was
When the GOP gets control of the senate and takes a new look at woman’s suffrage I am sure his name will be at the top of the list for committee chairs.
Sure, 2000 out of 70,000 doesn't seem like that many people, but let's just break that down a bit, shall we? From my own not-so-wonderful stints of working in retail, I'm estimating that about 20% of a retailer's work force could be classified as "management." So, that's about 14,000 managers for Dollar General out of the 70K total. For simplicity's sake, let's say half of those 14K people are women (although I doubt it's really that high, given the apparent sexist environment, but hey, let's be generous). So, out of 7000 potential women managers, 2000 were part of legal action(s) against Dollar General, or about 29%.
That's not an insignificant amount. At all.
But hey, I'm just a woman. What do I know about math and such?
You really have to hand it to Nunn and his massive, solid steel testicles. It takes balls of granite to use the "well, yeah, but look at all of the people I didn't rape" defense.
"I don't always get sued, but when I do, it is by fewer than 2000 people!"

The rest are making sammiches.
2 discrimination cases is a damning indictment 2000, why that's a mere statistic.

And probably a couple thousand who had no problem with it because it wasn't happening to them.
Oh, those wacky women with their ideas that they should be treated equally.

"Only two thousand" wimmin may seem like a low number. But that's about 4000 ta-tas. Or about 8000 tas.

…And it was less than 2,000 people.
Way less, if your formula is applied.
And here I was gonna give his handlers credit for getting him to use the word "people" to describe wimminz...
