Having old Tom on your side is always good, but what happens when you find out that Jefferson didn&#039;t actually support your position? <a href="http:\/\/www.monticello.org\/site\/jefferson\/spurious-quotations" target="_blank">You cook up fake quotes</a> and pass &#039;em off as Jefferson&#039;s.
These people are dishonest on every level - and ignorant to boot: Madison wrote the Bill of Rights. (Jefferson was in France at the time, and gun rights were distinctly <i>absent</i> from the suggestions he provided.)
Joe has proposed a bill that would have Federal agents arrested for enforcing laws. I think I need some magic mushrooms to help me understand this perpetual arresting.
