So I am absolutely amazed by the the level of righteous indignation that just got unsprung.

"Finally, it is happening to me,

right in front of my face, & I just can't deny it.

FINALLY!"

Lincoln Project, if you're listening: Ad featuring Walz and his daughter being normal and cute, also featuring JD Vance being weird and creepy.

"In November, you can send one of these men to the White House."

Walz locks up the pro-puppy vote.

If Harris has a kitteh, it's a lock.

While I would have loved to watch Beshear beat up on Vance, Walz is a good solid pro-union pick.

Ta, Evan. Walz has great energy and a very Wonkette-ish sense of humor.

Tim Walz should be a non-commenter on Wonkette, he'd fit right in. : )

I just watched the massive Harris-Walz rally in Philadelphia with my parents and we were smiling and laughing the whole time. We kept pausing it replaying it to go over parts we thought were particularly awesome. We haven’t been this energized since Obama in 08!

Hmm. Walz is Harris's VP and right-wing online carbuncles are already calling him "too old".

Meanwhile pile of human butthair Vance (I thank thee for teaching me that word) is saying, "Tim Walz allowed rioters to burn down Minneapolis in the summer of 2020. Kamala Harris helped bail out the few who got caught."

I missed the horror headlines announcing to the world that Minneapolis had burned down. I have also missed any comment from Vance or Trump on the rioters being highly destructive in the UK at present. Maybe because those are far right rioters?

As in "What have you done for me lately?"

Wanna be a public servant? We don't work for you.

Remember when the Donald's campaign was totally self funded? So he wouldn't be beholden to contributors?

Me neither .

i'm just gonna say it - he's the white dude that is there to appeal to people who need to vote for a white dude (plus he won't stab her inthe back and brings all the other good stuff, but also my first point)

Sorry, Minnesotans don't say "ope". That's some other dialect, not us.

Predictably, the attack lines are directed at his response to the protests around the murder of George Floyd. They had a playbook for each potential candidate, and they're deploying the only thing they think they have against Gov Walz.

We'll see a massive amount of invective directed at "lawlessness", when it was his own guys who were beating up cops. The campaign will focus attention on the violence to the rule of law Trump and his supporters have done in contrast to the overwhelmingly peaceful protests in 2020.

Yeah, but the right is STILL flogging the "Portland burned to the ground" nonsense and credulous fools (including the media) keep repeating it despite observable reality. (The only thing that got burned in Portland were trash bins.)
