...<strong>THIS</strong> is why all cases involving police misconduct should be handled by a Special Prosecutor. All sentencing decisions are processed through the state attorney's office and they always ask "why" if the victim or police request more lenient sentencing. This means, the state attorney was obviously in cahoots(as stated later) with the police. These entities CANNOT counter balance each other!

This story didn't mention race or ethnicity, but I'm guessing that Orange County is the new Black County?
