Keep seeing vids by people calling for escalation.

I wonder how much of it is genuine and how much is GQP MAGAt astroturfing to provide a pretext for further bad acts.

I mean, yes, incandescent rage seems appropriate, but openly advocating for escalation seems beyond the pale, as it plays into the hands of the orange rapist and his ruzzian master.

Ta, Dok. By now we should have Medicare For All, but we still have Senators and Reps who pretend it's all okay, because *they* have *theirs.*

I’m not holding my breath. We’ll see whether they stick to their guns. We are voters and we are watching.

"Hilariously, the New York Times initially headlined its story on the vote “House Passes Doomed Bill to Restore ACA Subsidies” before going with the marginally less dour “House Votes to Restore Health Subsidies, Raising Hopes of a Deal.”"

OMF-in'G, NYT, are you intentionally trying to be the National Enquirer from the '80s?!?

So my "representative", Kevin Kiley, was championing an extension of the ACA tax credits for 3 years.

Guess who did not support extending the ACA tax credits for 3 years, or any years?

Yeah, that fucking guy.

I'm glad he's about to get gerrymandered out of his seat, useless little shit.

“We’re going to reduce health care by a lot." Hey, give Trump credit. When he's right he's right.

BTW, Chris Norland is my go to for news on YouTube. He’s American and lives in South Korea now. He’s been a professor, lived in several countries. He presents trustworthy sources and encourages his audience to check it out themselves, etc. His audience is international, with a lot of Americans. Anyway, he is the only person I’ve found on YouTube that presents important, in depth, credible news from Asia regarding the Trump administration.

I will never understand these assholes' obsession with abortion. "I'm going to make sure no one can get treatment or have health insurance because they might do something I don't approve of." Go fuck yourself, asshole. No one fucking asked you to approve of everybody's fucking medical issues.

I am so furious now about everything, because we've let idiots be in charge of shit they simply cannot and will not understand.

Like everything else when it comes to right-wingers, it's about hurting people they think deserve it.

This is all well and good for now. But the real damage is coming down the road when the republicans Big Batshit Bill takes effect.

With a few minor tweaks, you could probably get all republicans to vote yes. Just remove all healthcare for women and anyone who falls anywhere on the LGBTQIA spectrum, declare women to be property, and declare the previously mentioned LGBTQI to be non-citizens eligible for immediate caging and deportations and you’d have every GQP member of the house and senate fighting to be the first to sign it. Hell, throw in a pro kitten-strangling clause and they’ll fight to the death to be the first to sign it.

“We’re going to reduce health care by a lot. One other thing on health care, it’s never been our issue. It should be our issue[.]”

The Fulvous Fuckwad done gone and said the quiet part out loud again, and, no shit, he told the truth. “We’re going to reduce health care by a lot[,] not health care costs, not what households have to pay for insurance, not restoring Medicaid cuts for the poor and working poor, not to make it easier to get essential medical care, not reduce the costs of all prescription meds (not just a few and then crow about bringing Big Pharma to heel), nor anything else that would improve the healthcare system for the benefit of all; just “We’re going to reduce health care by a lot." Reduce healthcare, period... full stop... nothing more to see here folks... -30-.

And may I suggest that the Shocking Orange ShitForBrains continue to make it the RINOs' issue the same way they have been; a surefire contribution for the MAGAdroids to lose the majority in both Houses of Congress. (Admittedly wishcasting, but well within the possible.)

This is all very important though my poor little jaded gen X'er heart tells me it is the usual pundit effort to do the bare minimums to 'keep my voters thinking I work for them' sort of veneer.

If this were actual serious, help the people legislation? It wouldn't have an expiration date in three years. Kicking a metaphorical can down the road is also part of their really doing nothing much status quo.

If the folks in congress were serious about we the people they would be aghast and working very hard to take back the billions of dollars they gave to ICE. Taxpayers being forced to fund their own executions/murders is some real shitty optics.
