Nicole Wallace IS a disgusting bitch. She ran that McCain campaign into the ground and Palin was the only good thing about it. People were showing up those rallies because of her, not RINO McCain. And Wallace did set up that Couric thing and had Palin with her for a day and half! That's campaign malpractice at its worst. I'd agree that those were both good things, but he only shut the crazy old lady down in the last week of his campaign, when it was clear he was going to lose. He let Palin blab about Obama "pallin' around with terrorists" the entire campaign. He never tried to shut any of her dog whistles down when he thought he might win.
He refused to compromise on torture, because like all Republicans, he doesn't care about anything unless it affected him personally. Thinking torture is bad is an awfully low bar to begin with, particularly since it's not effective.
McCain was just another scummy Republican in my book. He never would have gotten anywhere in life if his father hadn't been an admiral, much like Trump and Shrub.
She could have said “Like most Governors, my staff reviews all of the major papers and online articles and gives me the ones that are relevant to any policy issues we have going on. Being in this kind of job, I’d say very few governors have the time the time to sit down with a cup of coffee and read a newspaper cover to cover.” Of course, that would have required the ability to tell the truth and be articulate.
