At the last minute, the Board accepted testimony from Becky Berger, a self-identified "geologist and oil and gas professional," who attacked the only environmental science textbook up for consideration. Texas does not need to rely on oil and natural gas for energy. There is an infinite amount of bovine biomass that is dropped every time Texans open their mouths that can be converted to electricity.
