My niece is having difficulty bringing in her husband, and he's married to a US citizen, white, english-speaking, collage educated... I suspect he's not christian, but has probably been to church, and may even have been educated at a church school (wacky Brits). She moved here a year ago. She did the application in January, and it's only in the past month that he got the go ahead for part two in the process (the interview). I don't know if he's been screened for Daesh cooties yet.
