"Settle down" in the headline is directionally correct. Living up to Pat Robertson is a low bar indeed, kinda like pole vaulting over a dime.

Tailgunner Ted is the demon spawn of the GOP and party leadership is just now figuring out how dangerous that is. Cruz doesn't give a shit about the GOP or about those appointments or Harry Reid or Mitch Mcturtle. All Ted cares about is what's best for Ted.He's completely selfish, intensely ambitious and utterly without morals or integrity- he ought to be a Republican wet dream, But he will throw his own party under the bus in a New York minute if doing so benefits him and his antics this weekend certainly did. He scored major points with the drooling dipshits who make up his fan club and in Ted's world, that's all that counts. How it affects everyone around him is immaterial, as long as he gets something good out of the deal.

It's weird that Pat didn't trust God to be his physician when he needed heart surgery.

For somebody who supposedly loooooves him some Jesus, ol' Pat sure is doing all he can to avoid meeting the feller, isn't he?
