Personally I think this incident might be more of a Rorschach than anything. To me, it sounds like he was lashing out at a system he believed himself a victim of (with the slavery comment and anthem reciting). Rather than him believing that as a "patriot" he was entitled to force neighborhood latinos into slavery (and standing for the national anthem).
Granted (and most important) he is a crazy person who's actions can't necessarily be expected to make logical sense. Regardless, the black-man-so-MAGA he snatching latinos up, is a refreshing twist.
