Ashley Feinberg put it best when she tweeted that "literally all paul manafort had to do to enjoy a quiet life of egregious crime was not win a presidential election"
I'm ashamed that I'm late to this party...I got so caught up with troll baiting I forgot to read this yesterday. Does anyone else get the impression that Mueller is doing one of those complete road re-surfacing jobs where they work on a 1/4 mile or a city block all at once--strip it up, bring the blacktop in and roll it out and stripe it all in one day? All the way up Pennsylvania Ave. And when they get to the gate, that'll be the day someone will have to go jail from inside the WH?
You’re right, of course. I lifted that section from a two-part explanation of use/transactional immunity when Flynn was testifying before Congress. But I should be more clear. 👍🏻
Don't worry. The three-headed trolls and liver-eating dwarfs out of the Red Fairy Book who believe everything on Gateway Pundit are going to absolutely believe the people getting immunity are the Podestas, who are getting ready to flee to Montenegro with Hillary Clinton if their immunity application fails and relocate the Pizza Cellar Sex Trafficking Ring there, which is why we better withdraw from NATO quickly so that we won't have to defend Montenegro. You really can't fix stupid.
Just a small cavil. While I know you explain the difference between "use immunity" and "transactional immunity," you then go on to simply reference "immunity" throughout the article. "Immunity" -- as a standalone term -- generally refers to transactional immunity, which (as I know you recognize) is not what's at stake here. Accordingly, I would suggest that to avoid confusion the better practice would be, when discussing "use immunity," ALWAYS using the entire phrase "use immunity," clunky though it may seem. Or maybe it's just me.
Or it could be the Podestas, who are finally going down, dude for stealing Funyuns from the Piggly Wiggly in Roanoke! Who you gonna believe, Yr Wonkette or THE STUPIDEST MAN ON THE INTERNET?
Well, OBVIOUSLY he thought he'd never get caught, but so does every criminal. Most of them still make at least a cursory effort not to create volumes of evidence against themselves. Not this one, apparently.

Can Trump pardon this bastard?
You're welcome.
The co-conspirators are deserving of punishment also too, but I’m ok with immunity so long as Paulie rots in jail.
Thanks, $5F.
Thanks!

precisely
He was less cocky afterwards.

The etymology of that word is interesting. Once upon a time there was a young lad named Hu who was entirely too cocky going into his bris....
Delmar O'Donnell as well, but he was baptized and all his sins were washed away.

Wait a minute. Is this a trick question?
