Well, to my mind, a good debate challenge is to go in and argue the case for something you don't actually believe in. For example a Lecturer of Hillary Clinton asked her to write an essay arguing for Liberal talking points, when at the time she was a Goldwater supporter. She found her own arguments more persuasive than the ones she had been using to defend Goldwaters position, so she wound up changing her mind.
Debates are for sharpening your own ideas and testing them against opposition. Besides, if you think people of different faiths dont debate with one another, you are wrong.
Besides, Copernicus presented his theories to Pope Urban who approved of the theory. 66 years later the Catholic Church partially banned the book, mostly due to Protestants screaming that the Catholics believe the Sun was at the centre of the Solar System and that was heresy Heresy. So things change even in your idea of the Monolithic System where everything is their way or the hiway.
And ya, its amazing that the Protestants don't like talking about the fact that they were dead set against Heliocentrism from day one, whereas they have no problem sating Catholics are backward even though it took Catholics nearly 70 years to come against it due to Catholics getting burned for believing in Heliocentrism. "This will turn the Science of Astronomy on its head" was not written by a stodgy old Catholic, but by no less than Martin Luther, and the heresy of the Sun was a battle cry in the Religious wars.
So we have yet another case of hiring a big name celebrity for a prestigious job. Who gives a shit if he knows anything? Who fucking cares if the students learn a damn thing even close to reality? We need people who are famous solely for being famous.
i love that the system is called "BrainEx". it's like they're already considering the commercial applications.
I can see that Catholicism has not learned its lessons very well. Molesting children is bad-- very bad-- but it's not the only thing wrong.
good question.
One of the few books I regret taking the time to read.
Ew, ain't nobody want to see that!
Motherfucker has a bachelors degree. Jesus christ

He's free to discuss it with the school president who makes a six figure salary.
He'll make the students read it. Count on it.
Were leftover campaign funds donated to ND by any chance?
Relax. He doesn't dare reveal he skips leg day.

Holy shit. And it's getting to the point that's not enough even for community colleges.
