Listening to the CBC coverage, with the Democratic majority in the House pushing the changes that were put in the final version being signed down in Mexico, it shows that the US is still capable of working with other countries in a sane and orderly manner (in spite of the toddler at the head of the executive branch trying to shit on everything in sight).
You do understand this is a trilateral trade agreement? We don't get to change it at all unless the other two signatories are on board with the change. So yes, it just may not be that easy to do.
