The world's primary buyer and user of weaponry was itself attacked by a weapon today, when two shots were tragically fired at the terrible war building, by somebody somewhere (the woods?). According to Reuters, "there were no injuries or significant damage," which marks the first time the Pentagon has been involved in anything that didn't lead to injuries or significant damage. This may, however, be part of a shocking series of solitary, harmless attacks on military buildings in Northern Virginia!
Shooting at the Pentagon strikes me as a monumentally stupid idea. Especially, as the news reports said FIVE shots were heard and only TWO hit the building. It's a big building, so the terrorists are bad shots who shoulda spent a little more time at the NRA firing range.
As an aside, I read once about hunters in Wyoming or South Dakota who liked to shoot at Army tanks out on training exercises. Unlike the deer and the antelope, the tanks can shoot back. But if they somehow "bagged" a tank, how would they mount it over the fireplace?
Sarah Palin is on the right "track" (ha ha) for tank hunting: A helicopter. But you really need a missile of some kind, not a rifle.

True. The last time the Pentagon held a bake sale do you know what they went out and bought?
Well it does look a little like a target.
Is the bear Catholic?
He doesn't know what a peasant looks like either.
That is also how the dog pound works in rural areas. If they don't do it right, wolves will come and dig up the dog bodies.
I hope Hopey has learned from the past and stopped reading "My Pet Goat" while AMERICA IS UNDER ATTACK.
Was someone warming up for a Second Amendment solution to a perceived problem? Was that problem Medicare's refusal to pay for a new rascal?

Isn't this kind of like someone throwing letters at a post office?
