I know if someone in the top 1-2% of IQ talks to an average IQ person, it's comparable to the experience an average IQ person gets when they talk to a "developmentally different" person.
My all-time favorite remains "Thinks he's funny, but he's not."
That and the student who said they knew I hated him all semester and would never give him a fair chance, so now he was giving me a low evaluation, and how did I like THAT? I honestly had no idea who the hell it was.
(I can say "he" with confidence: after giving up on figuring out who it was, I took the copy of the evaluation and compared the handwriting to the final exam blue books. Finally figured out it was a guy who never participated in discussions, seldom revised, and was such a complete lump that I never noticed him enough to dislike him.)
I'd be happy to build it - if you let me stay in your country if this bozo somehow gets elected by the idiots in this country. Can I come over and play with you guys?
Why does anyone pretend that a BBB rating means anything at all? It's an opt-in membership for businesses, the organization has no power to actually take any actions on reports, their grades and reporting are based on piecemeal information that is only coming from filed complaints. The only people who file complaints with the BBB are people who believe the BBB has some sort of power. I just don't see why the public puts so much relevance in the BBB.
We only got our evaluations after submitting grades, of course, so it's not like I could have taken revenge. Or would have needed to bother -- he earned his "C" all on his own.
Oh sure. I didn't mean to imply otherwise, though I guess I did. Sorry. Honestly, I think that policy was more about protecting professors from allegations that they retaliated in some way, or could in the future.
Oh, no, I know you didn't mean to suggest I'd retaliated. And frankly, I'll be the first to agree that in general, even LOOKING was ethically iffy.
On the other hand, were I seeking the Republican presidential nomination, I'd be morally obliged to make a video naming him and accusing him of being a BAD STUDENT.
They're lawyers, they can take it; on the other hand, the income potential based on this guy, win or lose, could make any self-respecting lawyer drool like a Saint Bernard.
If Trump University was so yuuugely successful and A+ quality, why isn't it still around?

That being said, it's amazing how much brainless slime mold can achieve...http://www.scientificameric...
Having Americans pay for it (and probably also, too, doing the building of it) was implied...

But that's just because Trump U instructors are monitoring them.
