Now that it's clear that we aren't going to be getting to that laundry today, we are going to approach the events in Boston like we do any huge news story: By following multiple newsfeeds and sharing them with our Wonkette friends. This livebloog is going to be a combination of group hug and more than a little eye-rolling at what we find crawling across our monitors. Assisting Yr Doktor Zoom in the Sekrit Chatcave are Yr Editrix, Snipy, Wonkette Jr., and Stefan Bc.
“Any time bombs are used to target innocent civilians, it is an act of terror,” said some guy named Barack Obama, today. Carry on, wingtards, carry on.
Placed in trash cans, the obvious (and probably only) hiding spot. Just bad luck for those nearby that the cans generated knee-high shrapnel. Timing, really, could have been any time over a stretch of an hour or more. No signs of evil genius here -- just major-leage assholery, by stupid fucks who will undoubtedly get caught.
No flag being waved at all, but no matter what it turns out to be, he knows it's gonna be false? Conspiracy nuts are creaming in their jeans at the unlimited possibilities.
My thoughts exactly. Amateurs, who couldn't get half their bombs to detonate (thank SFM), left plenty of physical evidence as a result, and are probably on dozens of security tapes. They looked a lot like gunpowder explosions, to my far-from-expert (but chemically-experienced) eyes; if true, it again would point to amateurs.
Ah, so that would mean the dozen or so embassy attacks that happened during the W regime were also on US soil, right?
Haha, I kid, I kid.
That is correct.

---

I can get you some straight potassium chloride to salt them with.
Answer should have been "Not on this planet. Next question."

Too bad we can't add, say, Karl Rove to the list of candidates. Where are the Anonymous hackers when you really need them?
In today's US of A, idiocy sells. A lot.
If you know of any media outlet that's actually waiting for Monday morning, let me know.
What could possibly go wrong, when we send thousands of armed einsteins just like this guy into our schools?

Do you get to put on a cape and helmet and shit, when you take up the banhammer?
Still stupid. Yeah, I know . . . not exactly a shocker.
