"...the Pentagon is right now rolling out its new testosterone testing policies,..."
Apparently, someone there thought better of it:
"The Pentagon is temporarily rescinding recently published clinical guidance for a new, mandatory testosterone deficiency screening policy for service members age 30 and older, a U.S. official told Reuters on Thursday.
On Wednesday, the Pentagon posted the “Clinical Guidance for Health and Human Performance Optimization” on its website. By Thursday, the memo and an accompanying statement had been removed."

Across the US, workers are souring on AI. The tech industry has insisted that AI would make workers’ lives easier and more productive, that the more people understood and used AI, the more they would like it.
Tillis closed his post by saying, “I urge the President to find a new leader at the Pentagon who will retain and empower our military talent rather than diminish it.”
Fuck this guy. TFG was the one who put this dumbass in the job, and he's the one continuing to back Secretary Dumbass. If Hegseth goes, TFG should be on the barge to the Pacific Garbage Patch along with him.

The DOJ asked the U.S. Supreme Court to lift a temporary court order against the USPS’ new mail voting restriction as the federal government tries to put Trump’s anti-voting executive order into effect before the midterms. The request comes as Talwani separately weighs imposing a more substantial block.
Few of the brainless animals that voted for this will ever actually understand the level to which they have destroyed this country.
Few of them will ever understand the level to which 250 years of, "Our word is good." has been the plush memory foam mattress that gave them comfy lives, even if they didn't feel it.
I hope some of them live long enough to figure it out, not that they'll blame themselves. It'll still be Biden's fault. Or Harris.
Is Fux Noise having a day? It has come to my attention the crackerjack legal team over at Fux Noise had to be in court this morning. It seems the Smartmatic case is winding its way through the courts. What could have been seen or heard in that courtroom this morning that caused Maria Bartiromo to be tossed out with the garbage? Golly **scratches ass** could it be all the lying THEY ALL DID for Dear Leader? How many is this now? Frozen Food Heir Guy and a few others who's names I don't give a rats ass about and now this fucking **&^ - Bye Felicia.
Fox News has been legally qualified as entertainment, its own lawyers argued that no one would confuse Fox content for actual news reporting.
I'm not sure how this indemnifies them from the the laws regarding slander and reputational damage. If I remember right, they settled the Dominion suit for just under a billion dollars.
But the whole network basically lied. I'm not saying they shouldn't fire anyone, rather the ENTIRE company be held accountable. Abolish Fox "News" - they can have shows, but they damn sure shouldn't be able to present themselves as trustworthy or news.
My reading continues careening around. Today’s purchases: Octavia Butler, “Kindred”; (thanks to whoever here recommended it); The Qur’an; and David Foster Wallace, “The Broom of the System.” These were bought in anticipation of finally getting through this book by William James, “The Varieties of Religious Experience,” which has tiny print that has given me numerous headaches.
Oh, and ordered Cervantes’ “Don Quixote.” It’ll be here sometime.
I recently finished the first two books in Colson Whitehead’s Harlem trilogy. The third book was released this summer and I look forward to reading it eventually. Now I’m reading one of his earlier books. The Intuitionists. About elevator inspections. It’s really good. Of course his Underground Railroad and Nickel Boys are excellent.
Seems curious the media is focusing on JD and asking his opinion on things.

Hegseth’s testosterone measured that low?
Well, that's a major and highly appropriate 'fuck you' to Hogsbreath. Expect roid rage going forward.
Oh, the brass isn’t totally cowed and powerless? That’ll be good to know for the trials.
Buried waaaay deep on the Grauniad front page this morning, this bit of beautiful photography from my own home town(ish)...

Something closer to the opposite has happened.

Along with everyone who voted to confirm that besotted teevee host for SecDef. Right, Thom?

I mean really entire states have vote by mail. The chaos is the point
So Trump thinks Ken Paxton 'needs to smile more'. And dress better. And not be such a moron.

Paxton should give him the old "we're not so different, you and I" routine.

Nope, seems like it's from the beef back bone and rib - some little bones in it...
So no lips either huh? DRAT!
It was closely trimmed as well- but from a good cut area and is tasty. 😋

Huh, should I go back and read about the horribly embarrassing shit Whiskey Dick Pete did now again?

Their 'out', such as it is, is that they claim to be 'entertainment only'.
What absolute bullshit.
