Here is a videotape of a (now former!) Philadephia police officer, Jonathan Josey, punching Aida Guzman after that city's Puerto Rican Day Parade on September 30, 2012. Guzman was part of an unruly crowd that had gathered following the parade, but the videotape does not show her doing anything to Josey, who believed she had thrown beer at him. On Tuesday, Josey's non-jury trial for simple assault ended with Municipal Judge Patrick Dugan finding Josey not guilty. Dugan said that the video was
Headlined in today's Daily News-- The judge is married to a cop, and was elected w/ the support of the FOP. Attorneys are saying he should've recused himself.
Step 1: Get a bunch of helicopters. Step 2: With searchlights. Step 3: Stay off the streets as much as possible. Step 4: Avoid interactions with all members of the community who are not cops. Step 5: Except when moonlighting as security on a movie set. Step 6: Moar helicopters. Step 7: Reduce workforce until the ratio of cops to population approaches 1:1800, or maximum entropy, whichever comes first.
A confession. That's about what it would take. "Yeah, I punched the fuck out of her because she pissed me off". That might work, although this judge might decide the cop was just joshin'.

What is the sound of one judge panderinig?
Some people enjoy abusive relationships.
Damn you.
Only if you're a cop.
When I call someone a pussy, I'm calling them a coward, as in scaredy-cat.
Specifically, the kind of bully-blowhard coward that talks a lot of smack but collapses and runs at the first sign of actual danger.
They could simply fire a warning shot into the offender's shoulder.
No shit?
