It took me fifteen years to convince my mother that JoBeth Williams wasn't dead because Dominique Dunne and Heather O'Rourke had, she thought it was like a curse. I love that woman, best, funniest mom ever!!!

I can answer that! She divorced her abusive husband in the 1980s, and at the time that was a big "no no" in the "Christian" community. She was basically shunned and disappeared from public view. I read an interview with her years ago, and she claimed she was much more tolerant these days. Also, her son is a big flaming homo. People who live in glass houses...

Elizabeth Warren said something a few years ago that stuck with me. It was "if we keep transferring wealth to the top in the next thirty years at the same rate we have been for the past thirty years, this is going to be a country that even the rich aren't going to want to live in." All these conservatives are like a drunk who destroys his neighborhood bar, and then can't figure out why there isn't a nice place to have a drink close to his house.
