Actually, was thinking about this too. I'm getting that 2007 feeling. Like we're due for a big "market correction." The market can't run this hot this long on fumes. I don't see any major growth going on, and in fact am seeing retail tightening... a pretty reliable harbinger of doom.

If saying something stupid once amuses you, why not copypaste it and say it again? You're cordially invited to take it elsewhere, troll.

One other thing about that poll: the rurals started at 55% approval back in jan/feb. It's gone down 8 fucking percent! D2S has been burning the country to the ground for 9 months and all he's lost is 8% ??!!? I'm sorry, there is a significant chunk of this country that is irreparably racist and stupid. They cannot be turned, only resisted.

certainly...and unfortunately needs to be more machiavellian about it, like yes Hillz was more than qualified for the job, but there were too many negatives ( not that she deserved them but they WERE factors in an election) that kinda squashed all that qualification business. It was bad enough she had to deal with all the misogyny hardwired into the country, but she had that and then some. it sucks....if normal conventions still applied she would have squeaked by a win.

It's called cognitive dissonance. They don't really believe that he has a strong moral character, but they pretend that he does because they believe he'll elevate their influence in this country. They are not wrong, but I suspect & hope that it's a short term bump.
